Hint: A national park is an area that is officially recognized and protected by a nation’s government. The Guindy National is located in the capital city of a state in South India.

Complete step-by-step answer:
Guindy public park is the eighth littlest National Park in India. It is one of the not many public parks to be arranged in a city and has a region of about $1.70$ sq. km. It is situated in Chennai, the capital city of Tamil Nadu. It encloses beautiful forests, scrublands, lakes, and streams and extends deep inside the governor’s estate. This park was established in 1977. It is governed by the Tamil Nadu Forest Department. This park has both the roles of in – situ and ex–situ conservation. It is a home for 2,000 spotted deers, 400 blackbucks, 24 jackals, and a wide range of snakes, tortoises, and geckos. It has over 130 species of birds, over 60 species of butterflies and spiders each, and 14 species of mammals. Different types of invertebrates like ants, grasshoppers, crabs, earthworms, snails, termites, slugs, scorpions, millipedes, and mites are also found here. These live with the minimum interference of human beings as these are free-ranging fauna. Protection in the other in – situ conservation areas is the only major management. This park attracts more than 700,000 visitors every year.

Thus, option (C) is correct.

Note: The Guindy National Park is an extension of the grounds surrounding the Raj Bhavan which is formerly known as the official residence of the Governor of Tamil Nadu.
