Sambhaji Maharaj, son of Shivaji, waited with Moropant's families in Mathura after they evaded from Agra.
Moropant inaugurated a sound wealth council to Shivaji's regime and fiddled a significant position in reserve planning interesting defences and supervision of strategic forts. He was also accountable for the formation and administration of Pratapgad.
