Hint: The abdomen is divided into four quadrants. These quadrants represent the location of abdominal organs.
Anatomists and physicians split the human belly into quadrants and regions for the purposes of research, diagnosis, and treatment. The separation into four quadrants permits pain and tenderness, scars, tumours, and other items of interest to be located, narrowing down which organs and tissues may be implicated. The left lower quadrant, left upper quadrant, right upper quadrant, and right lower quadrant are the four quadrants.
