Complete answer:
Kalpakkam nuclear power plant is located on the Coromandel coast in 70 km south of Chennai in Tamil Nadu. About 80 km in the south of Chennai, India, Madras Atomic Power Station (MAPS), a comprehensive nuclear power production, fuel reprocessing, and waste treatment facility in Kalpakkam, in which Fast Bree.

The facility houses are two indigenous pressure heavy water reactors (PHWRs), MAPS-1 and MAPS-2 which are designed to produce 235 MW power. MAPS-1 completed in 1981, but due to the lack of heavy water, start-up was delayed. After the purchase of heavy water, Maps-1 became important in 1983 and started working with full power on January 27, 1984. Maps-2 received criticalism in 1985 and started full power operation on March 21, 1986.

Due to the Signatory of the Treaty On India Nuclear Non-Proliferation, The Reactor is distributing its Spent Fuel in the Nuclear Regression Plant.

Hence, the correct answer is option D.

Note:
A beach in Kalpakkam also hosts the first indigenous pressure of India. For the nuclear submarines of India, 80 MW reactor was developed by the Bhabha Atomic Research Center as a land-based prototype of the nuclear power unit. This unit does not come under MAPS.
