The correct answer is (C).
Dalbergia sissoo is known as Indian rosewood commonly. It is an evergreen rosewood tree which is native plant of the Indian subcontinent and also of Southern Iran.
In India, it is considered as the state tree of Punjab. This tree is primarily found growing along the river banks below 900 meters elevation. This tree can also range naturally for upto 1,300 m or 4,300 ft.
This species is a fast growing and hardwood deciduous, large, crooked tree which have long, leathery leaves and flowers are of whitish-pink color. These trees have a long taproot system and also numerous surface roots are found which further produces suckers. Young shoots also develop which are downy and drooping, the established stems are light brown to dark gray bark in color and have thickness of about 2.5 cm (0.98 in), these shed in narrow strips and large upper branches of the tree support a spreading crown.
This plant is also called as Shisham commonly. This plant is considered to be best known internationally as a premier and superior timber species of the rosewood genus. This is also used as fuel wood and for providing shade and shelter. As this tree is known to produce multiple products and have tolerance of light frosts and long dry seasons, thus this species deserves greater consideration for the tree farming practices, reforestation and agroforestry applications.

Note: Dalbergia sissoo is a commonly grown plant and can be easily seen growing in the northern plains. The hardwood makes it commercially important species and it is also used in making musical instruments, wheel work, gun carriage etc. The common and scientific names of commonly growing plants should be studied carefully.
