Hint: The definition of induction has to be known first. Some pieces of material are when brought to the magnet, by induction they become magnets. The magnetic properties are known when they start attracting magnetic materials. Note that, only a few types of material show this tendency. A magnet is an object or a product that creates a magnetic field outside itself. There are many compounds that were found to have some magnetic property.
When a piece of iron is brought to a near end of a magnet, the nearer end of the piece requires opposite polarity. Since the poles attracted each other, the iron attracted the magnet. So, the iron price will become a magnet first then it is attracted. That’s the reason induction precedes attraction.
A charged body attracts light particles due to induction. If a negatively charged rod is brought to a small piece of metal foil, the free electron that is present in that metal foil will repel to the end of the rod. Since the positive charge is near to the charged rod as compared to the negative charge the force in ta foil will attract. Thus induction always precedes the attraction of small particles.

These materials do not allow magnetic field lines to pass through it and field lines expand lengthwise. Those are paramagnetic materials. Like, aluminum chromium, alkali, alkaline, platinum, oxygen, etc.
Ferromagnetic materials have the strongest magnetism property. These materials exhibit atomic level magnetization even in the absence of a magnetic field. The common ferromagnetism substances are iron, cobalt, nickel.
