Hint: Wave is a form of energy which can be described in terms of frequency, wavelength or tits nature. Particles are entirely different from a wave. A particle is described in terms of its mass or momentum etc. We distinguish our entire universe in the form of matter and waves, but in case of light or subatomic particles this is completely different.

Complete answer:
Light shows dual nature. It acts as both a wave and as well as a particle according to its requirement. When we talk about photoelectric effect the light shows its particle nature while if we talk about refraction then light shows its wave nature. While almost every object has a wave nature and is said to have a de Broglie wavelength but this can only be visualized only in case of subatomic particles, because in case of normal particles or matter the de Broglie wavelength is very small and can be neglected easily.
Light is a type of electromagnetic wave and it has a property of both particles and waves. When we talk about photos then we are talking about the particle nature of light while when we talk in terms of wavelength then the light is behaving as a wave.

Note:
Light is a type of electromagnetic wave. It can travel in any medium including vacuum. While we cannot observe the particle nature of light without any medium because particles can only travel in a medium while waves can travel in vacuum too. Albert Einstein predicted this before more than 100 years and he got a nobel prize for it.
