5th September 2020. Kanpur: Kanpur Senior Secondary School celebrated ‘No Tobacco Day’ on 4th September in the school auditorium. The celebrations began with the felicitation of the chief guest, Mr Sunil Gavaskar. He presented a speech on the illegal use of tobacco and its harmful effects. The function commenced with a dance performance showcased by the junior students, followed by a thrilling skit on Tobacco by the seniors. Thereafter, all the students took part in a poster-making competition. After the show ended, all the students were given a few brochures on ‘no tobacco day’ and a few chocolates. The principal concluded the show by presenting a short speech. Overall, the function was successful.
