Hint: Neon and Argon are noble gases which belong to group 18 of periodic table. Neon lights are visible from long distances. Neon glows in orange red colour when electricity is passed. Argon is also known as shield gas. They are chemically unreactive. Neon has high refrigeration capacity.

Complete step by step answer:
Uses of Neon:
-Neon is used in discharge tubes and fluorescent bulbs for advertisement display purposes.
-Neon bulbs are used in botanical gardens and in green houses.
-Neon is also used to make high-voltage indicators because when high voltage is applied , neon gas starts glowing.
-Liquid neon is an important cryogenic refrigerant.

Uses of Argon:
-Argon is used mainly to provide an inert atmosphere in high temperature metallurgical processes such as arc welding of metals or alloys.
-Argon is used for filling electric bulbs. It is also used in laboratories for handling substances that are air sensitive.
- Argon is used in fluorescent tubes and low-energy light bulbs.
-Double-glazed windows use argon to fill the space between the panes. To protect the rubber and reduce road noise, tires of luxury cars can contain argon.

Note: Neon has symbol as Ne and atomic number is 10. Neon is a colorless, odorless, inert monatomic gas under standard conditions. Argon gas symbol Ar and atomic number is 18. It belongs to group 18 of the periodic table, both gases are noble gases. Argon is the third-most abundant gas in the Earth's atmosphere.
