Hint: The President of India acts as the role as head of the legislature, the executive, and the judiciary. Our Indian parliament is a bicameral legislature and is considered to be the supreme legislative body of our country. The Parliament of India is composed of two houses: the Lok Sabha (lower house) and the Rajya Sabha (upper house) with the President of India as their head.

Complete answer:
The primary function of the Parliament is to make laws and in this law-making process, Lok Sabha plays a predominant role.
Lok Sabha has the following supreme powers than Rajya Sabha:
Any ordinary law is required to be passed by both the Houses. But in case, if there is a difference of views between the two Houses, then the final decision is taken in a joint session in which members of the Houses sit together. In such a meeting, the view of Lok Sabha prevails as it has a larger number of members.
Money Bills cannot be originated in Rajya Sabha. Such bills can be introduced only in Lok Sabha and sent to Rajya Sabha for a recommendation.
The bills passed by Lok Sabha related to the budget of the Government or any of the money related law cannot be rejected by Rajya Sabha. The Rajya Sabha can delay it only by 14 days or suggest any changes in it. The changes suggested by Rajya Sabha may or may not be accepted by Lok Sabha. Lok Sabha contains a maximum of 550 seats in which these members are directly elected by citizens of India whereas Rajya Sabha has around 250 seats who are indirectly elected by legislative members of the states. Hence Lok Sabha is more powerful as it contains the members who were directly elected by the people and they are considered to be the direct representatives of the State. Thus Lok Sabha, the lower house of the parliament is more powerful and the strongest house than Rajya Sabha i.e. upper house.

Note In India, the Parliament conducts typically three sessions each year. During these sessions, the House meets every day for a particular time period to manage its business. The Budget session is held between January/February and May The Monsoon session is held from July to August/September The Winter session is held from November to December
