Hint: Chemistry is the branch of science which deals with the solutions, chemical reactions, changes in reactions w.r.t temperature, pressure and other conditions, nuclear reactions, periodic properties of other elements.

Complete step by step solution:
Colloidal solutions or colloidal suspensions are nothing much but just a mixture in which the substances are regularly suspended in a fluid. A colloid is a very tiny and small material that is spread out uniformly through another substance. Colloids are very much stable in nature. The particles of the dispersed phase are in a state of continuous motion and remain suspended in the solution. Colloids consist of two phases named as the dispersed phase and dispersion medium so they can be known as heterogeneous in nature.
A sol is defined as type of colloid in which solid particles are suspended in a liquid. The particles present in a sol are very small in size. The colloidal solution displays the Tyndall effect which is very stable. Sols can be prepared via condensation or dispersion. By adding a dispersing agent will increase the stability of a sol. The important use of sols is in the preparation of sol-gels. The main examples of sol gels are gel, blood, paint etc.

Note: Solution can be defined as that which is made up from two components known as solute and solvent where solute is the substance which gets dissolved and solvent is the substance in which solute is dissolved and both together make solution.
