Note: Ladakh region also provides the thrill of trekking and adventure to skillful mountain climbers with treks such as Chadar Trek and the Stok Kangri Trek. This region also provides the hunters exotic hunts of the markhor, red bear, snow leopard, wild sheep, antelope, gazelle, and marmot. Mining of minerals such as gold, copper and some precious stones is also done in some parts of Ladakh.
