Mitosis is the process in which different stages are present in order to undergo division. These stages include the prophase, metaphase, anaphase, and the telophase stage. The prophase stage includes the condensation of the chromatin material and the disappearance of the nuclear membrane. In the metaphase stage, the chromosomes align themselves to the equatorial plate and in the anaphase stage, the chromosome separates and travels to the poles of the cells. In telophase, the division of the cells starts and the reappearance of the nuclear membrane can be seen. When the two daughter cells get formed it leads to the end of the mitosis.
