Hint:
Rain is liquid water droplets that have liquidized from atmospheric water vapour and then become heavy enough to fall under gravity. Rain is a main component of the water cycle and is responsible for depositing a major part of the freshwater on the Earth. It gives suitable conditions for many types of ecosystems, as well as water for hydroelectric power plants and crop irrigation.

Complete solution:
As we know India has four major seasons. Because of the vast geographic scale and varied topography, the climate of India comprises a wide range of weather conditions. The basic definition of rain says water that is liquidized from the aqueous vapour in the atmosphere and falls on the earth in drops. It has a diameter of more than 0.02 inches. There are three types of rain that are Convectional rainfall, Orographic or relief rainfall Cyclonic or frontal rainfall. In Convectional rainfall The air on getting heated becomes light and rises in convection currents whereas in relief rainfall the saturated air mass comes across a ridge, it is forced to rise but Cyclonic activity causes cyclonic rain and it occurs along the fronts of the cyclone so it’s called Cyclonic or frontal rainfall. Also, rainfall is categorized based on intensity & that are light rain, moderate rain, & heavy rain.

Note:
Rain is common in India. India is known as a seasonal country. It has spring, summer, monsoon, and winter. In India monsoon season comes between July to mid-September. Rain is condensed moisture from the atmosphere that drops on the Earth as water. Also, the major component of the water cycle is rain. It gives freshwater & freshwater is very essential for livelihood.
