In Ruskin Bond’s ‘The Banyan Tree’, the tree became the narrator's own property because his grandfather was too old with an age of sixty-five to climb it. In the spring, a wide range of birds ran into its branches and the tree turned into the noisiest spot in the nursery. The kid had assembled a rough stage on the tree where he spent the evenings when it was not very warm. Staying there, he had perused numerous books. In this way, the banyan tree served the kid as an understanding room.

At some point, in a clearing underneath the banyan tree, in splendid daylight, a cobra and a mongoose met. The battle between the cobra and the mongoose started and there were three onlookers of the fight. The three watchers were the author, a myna and a wilderness crow. They settled down on the desert plant to watch the result of the fight. Despite the fact that the crow and the myna chose a cactus to watch the result of the fight, they didn't simply watch. They also attempted to join the battle by throwing themselves at the cobra.

Note: The fight of the cobra and the mongoose is an exemplary show regularly found in India, and the result is generally something very similar. The mongoose isn't resistant to the venomous chomp, however is quicker and speedier moving than the snake. The cobra accepts a stance of protection and endeavors to arrive at the creature by a broad strike, however the fast moving mongoose leaps far off and comes at the snake from another heading, before the snake can get into striking position once more.
