Hint: The process of the cell division divides the cells into two parts. This process includes the division of the cytoplasm present inside both the plants and the animal cell resulting in the formation of two daughter cells.

Complete answer:
The difference between cytokinesis in plant cell and animal cell is as follows:
Features Plant Cell Animal Cell
MechanismThe division here occurs at the cell plate where the cell wall starts to develop from the equator in the case of plant cells resulting in the formation of two daughter cells. The division here occurs by the development of a furrow away from the equator. The division starts by forming a constriction in the cell membrane and then moves towards the equator thus results in the formation of two daughter cells.
Fate of spindleThe spindle fibers are found to be usually persistent. The spindle fibers in this case start to degenerate.
Mode of formationThe formation of a cell plate occurs by the fusion of two cell organelles namely the Endoplasmic reticulum and Golgi body. The formation of the furrow or constriction occurs due to the functioning of the microtubules present in the cell membrane
GrowthThe growth of the cell plate starts from the center then moves towards the periphery, thus called centrifugal growth. The growth of the cell constriction starts from the periphery then moves towards the center, thus called centripetal growth.

Additional information:
-Cytokinesis is also known as the cell cleavage where the cell divides or cleaves to form a daughter cell. It occurs during the metaphase stage of the cell division in the case of the animal cell.
-In animal cells, the cell organelles get themselves arranged on the equator during the process of cell division.
-In the case of the plant cells only two organelles namely the Golgi body and the Endoplasmic Reticulum are arranged at the equator.
-The cell plates will result in the formation of the middle lamella In the case of the plant cells.
-During the process of cytokinesis in the green algae a specialized structure made up of microtubules called the phycoplast is observed. These microtubules are the spindle fibers that help in the segregation of the chromosomes found at the equator.

Note:
The cytokinesis process occurs two times during the process of meiosis resulting in the cell division twice and named the cytokinesis-1 and cytokinesis-2. Cytokinesis (a division of the cytoplasm), and karyokinesis (a division of the nucleus) occur simultaneously but the pattern is arranged parallelly.
