In 1933 German Nazi party member Joseph Goebbels became the minister of propaganda under Adolf Hitler. He overpowered the press, radio and theater.
In 1927 Goebbels became the party leader or Gauleiter of the Berlin region. In 1927 he founded the National Socialist Periodical der Angriff. He also became it's editor. He was elected in the German parliament in 1928 . He exploited people's emotions for Hitler's powerful position.
Hitler appointed Goebbels as his Reichsminister of Propaganda and National Enlightenment in 1933. Goebbels used all mediums of communication in the form of education, radio,theater and press to spread Hitler's notion of an authoritarian regime. These propaganda showed Hitler as a representative of God and Germany as a superpower making the Germans believe themselves as the rulers of the world.
In 1938, Goebbels was appointed as a minister of Hitler Cabinet council. Goebbels served as Hitler's trustworthy ministers until his own death.

Note: Under Goebbels Reich Association of German press passed a law in 1943. The editor's law racially pure registries of editors and journalists, excluding Jews. The Propaganda Ministry's press division board controlled the content to be published. The idea of muzzling the press was to spread Nazi ideology
