When calcium oxide is react with water then calcium hydroxide is produced and the reaction can be shown as:
$Ca+{{H}_{2}}O\to Ca{{(OH)}_{2}}$
Hence the product formed is calcium hydroxide also known by the name slaked lime. The reaction shown above is kept in the category of combination reaction as calcium and water got combined during this reaction.
