If we remain inveterate smokers, it's only because we've so often experienced the frustration that results from failure. Most folks fail in our efforts at self-improvement because our schemes are too ambitious and that we never have time to hold them out. We also make the elemental error of announcing our resolutions to everybody in order that we glance even more foolish once we slip back to our old bad ways.
