Hint: A pinhole camera is a camera without a lens. The pinhole camera is a very simple camera. It makes use of a tiny opening to focus all the light into the least possible area to obtain an image, as clearly as possible. The image formed using a pinhole camera is always inverted.
Complete step by step answer:
In a normal camera, a convex lens is used to admit light and it tends to focus all that light to a small area. On the other hand, to this there is no such lens in a pinhole camera and hence no such focusing is needed. Due to the absence of any such lens it is not possible to take pictures of moving objects using a pinhole camera. So, the given statement is false. Hence, the correct option is (B).
Additional information:
Some of the important characteristics of the image formed by a pinhole camera are given below;
(I)A real image is formed on the screen.
(II)The size of the image is very smaller than the actual object
(III)The image is inverted because the image is real.
Some of the common uses of pinhole cameras are seeing the solar eclipse, to capture the movement of a sun over a long time.
Note:Since there is no lens involved the image does not give any fine details of the object and also it cannot be used to study the moving objects. It has an infinite depth of field.
