Hint:He was the ruler of the Vijayanagara Empire from the Saluva Kingdom. The patron saint of Madhwa Sripadaraya, wrote the work of Sanskrit Rama Bhyudayam. He also defended Kannada poet Kavi Linga.

Complete answer:
It is said that after the death of Virupaksha Raya II and the arrival of Prauda Deva Raya as the new king of Vijayanagar, the empire started to fall. Recognizing that the insurgency was the only hope of saving the empire, he sent Tuluva Isvara's son, Tuluva Narasa Nayaka to the state capital of Vijayanagara. The incumbent King Prauda Raya fell, and thus began the reign of Saluva Narasimha. Nuniz's writings provide a vivid account of how Narasa Nayaka traveled to Vijayanagara and found it completely unattended, even in women's houses.
The battle of Saluva Narasimha and the Gajapatis at Udayagiri in 1489 was disastrous when he was taken prisoner and later released after surrendering the castle and surrounding areas to the Gajapatis of Orissa. However he succeeded in conquering the western ports of the Kannada state of Bangalore, Bhatkal, Honnavar and Bakanur. This success made it possible for him to trade with fast horses and Arabs. He has taken many efforts to save his horsemen and the army as a whole.
Saluva Narasimha's successor was Immadi Narasimha. Narasimha's eldest son, Timma Bhupa, was assassinated by a military commander and one of Narasa's enemies in 1492, so Narasimha's youngest son, Narasimha Raya II, ascended the throne to his brother as king. He was enthroned as Immadi Narasimha. Although he was crowned king, the real authority came from the eldest son of Narasa and his successor, better known as Vira Narasimha. He ordered the assassination of Immadi Narasimha in 1505. He then sat on the throne and opened the kingdom of Tuluva, the third kingdom of Vijayanagar and ruled from 1503-1509.

Hence, the correct answer is option (A).

Note:As emperor, Saluva Narasimha sought to expand his empire, despite the hardships brought on him by the rebel forces. In1491, he lost Udayagiri to Gajapati Kapilendra of Orissa while the Ummattur dynasty in the Msore region, Saluvas of Hadavalli and Santharas of Karkala in the coastal region of Karnataka, Srirangapatna and Sambetas of Peranipadu in Cuddapah are still in power.
