Hint: In the Year 1911, Delhi became the Capital of British India and it was shifted from Calcutta to Delhi. The decision was taken during the Reign of Lord Harding, who was the Viceroy of India. Large parts of New Delhi were Planned and Designed by Edwin Lutyens, who first visited Delhi in 1912 and Herbert Baker, both Persons leading as 20th Century British Architects. The contract was given to Sardar Sir Sobha Singh, who was Indian Civil Contractor, Prominent builder and real estate developer of Delhi.
