Hint- Under the wife of this king, the kingdom became a lot more extensive-In 1565, the Mughal forces that were under Asaf Khan had attacked Garha Katanga thus strong resistance was put up by her. She was defeated so she preferred to die instead of surrendering. Her son, too, died fighting.

Step by step solution- Gond is a tribe present in the central part of India. The Gond clan gradually got divided into units of 84 villages known as chaurasia. Chaurasi was further subdivided into barhots that were made up of 12 villages each. Due to the emergence of large states, the nature of Gond society changed. So basically equal society with time slowly got divided into unequal social classes.
Brahmanas started to receive land grants from the Gond rajas and became a lot more influential. The Gond chiefs now wished that they should be recognized as the Rajputs.
Hence, Aman Das, who was the Gond raja of Garha Katanga, assumed the title of Sangram Shah. His son, who's name was Dalpat, had married princess Durgawati, who was the daughter of Salbahan, the Chandel Rajput raja of Mahoba.
The name of the son of Rani Durgawati was Bir Narain.

Thus, option C is the right answer.

Note- Garha Katanga referred to a rich state that earned much wealth by trapping as well as exporting wild elephants to other kingdoms. At the time when the Mughals defeated the Gonds, they captured a huge booty of precious coins along with elephants. Arrogated part of the kingdom had granted the rest to Chandra Shah, who was an uncle of Bir Narain. Despite the fall of Garha Katanga, Gond kingdoms survived for some time. Later, they became much weaker and struggled unsuccessfully against the stronger Bundelas as well as the Marathas.
