C. Jharkhand :-Bokaro Thermal is a census town in the state of Jharkhand, India, in the Bermo subdivision of Bokaro district. The Bokaro Thermal Power Station is located in this area, sometimes colloquially referred to as 'BTPS'. It is the oldest thermal power plant in Asia owned by Damodar Valley Company, the first river valley multipurpose project in India. It was launched in 1952 by the country's then Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, in cooperation with the USA and West Germany.
