B. Nantes – Nantes is the 6th largest city in France and located on River Loire. It was responsible for almost 42 percent of the total slave trade in France during 1700s. It was from this port that ships went to West Africa to buy slaves which were sold in French West Indies, and the ships would come back to Nantes with sugar and other exotic goods.
C. Bordeaux – Bordeaux is the fifth largest city in France and also a port city located on River Garonne. This city has the second highest number of monuments in France after Paris. It was also an important slave port in the 18th and 19th Centuries. The Slave Revolts of 1848 brought an end to slavery in France.
