Hint:The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) sends the satellites or rockets through operational launch vehicles. The two types of operational satellites are as follows: PSLV and GSLV. PSLV is used for the satellites which have a lower mass as compared to the satellites used in GSLV which have higher mass.

Complete answer:
ISRO stands for the Indian Space Research Organization. It is a government organization which works in the field of astronomy and astrophysics and produces satellites as well as rockets into space. ISRO recently sent a space probe orbiting Mars which is called Mangalyaan or the Mars orbiter mission. ISRO launches operational launchers into two types of launch vehicles:

PSLV: Its full form is the Polar Satellite Launch vehicle. It is the primary launch vehicle of ISRO which is operational. The PSLV is fit for the propelling of satellites which are 1600kgs satellites which are in 620km sun identical polar orbit.
GSLV: The full form of GSLV is the Geosynchronous Satellite Launch vehicle. Geosynchronous Satellite Launch vehicle has been equipped for propelling 2 tons class of satellites such as GSAT and INSAT sequence of communication satellites.

Thus from the above information, we can conclude that the full form of GSLV is Geosynchronous Satellite Launch vehicle.

Note: GSLV has been used in 13 launches since the year 2001 up to the year 2018. There have been different variants of the GSLV rocket engine and one of which works on the Indian designed cryogenic engine and the other is Russian designed cryogenic engine. ISRO has also developed the GSLV Mk-III launch vehicle.
