Hint: The ratio of males to females is known as the sex ratio. The ratio appears to be 1:1 in most animals that reproduce sexually. This trend is clarified by Fisher 's theory. However, for different reasons, many animals deviate, either regularly or indefinitely, from something approaching an equal sex ratio.

Complete answer:
According to the 2011 census, Kerala has a population of 3.34 Crores, a rise from 3.18 Crores in the 2001 census. The total population of Kerala for the 2011 census is 33,406,061 of which 16,027,412 are male and 17,378,649 are female. In 2001, the estimated population was 31,841,374 with 15,468,614 males and 16,372,760 females. Total population growth in this decade was 4.91 per cent, compared to 9.42 percent in the previous decade. The population of Kerala is 2.76 per cent of India in 2011. In 2001, the percentage stood at 3.10 per cent.
Hence the sex ratio of Kerala is 1.084 against the national figure of 0.940. This implies that there are 1084 females per 1000 males. However, this data is not much reliable now as this dates way back to 2011. The updated ratio will be known after the next census in 2021.
Kerala is also the most literate state in India with a literacy rate of 93.91% while the literacy rate of the country stands at a mere 74.04% according to the census of 2011.

Note: Kerala registered the lowest growth rate of population in the last decade. The decadal growth rate of the State is about 4.90 %. Also, Kerala is the only Indian state where the sex ratio has historically been above the national trend.
