Option A, Balaji Vishwanath was the first generation in the family tree of Peshwa who was the son Vishwanathpant Bhat Deshmukh. He was born on 1st January 1662 and died on 12th April 1720. He was married to Radhabai Barve and had given birth to two sons and two daughters, i.e. Baji Rao I, Chimaji Appa, Bhiubai and Anubai.

Baji Rao I was born on 18th August 1700 and died on 28th April 1740 well-known as Bajirao I who was nominated by Shahu I as the Peshwa in the year 1720. Chimaji Appa was his younger brother who was a military commander. Bajirao was married to Kashibai who gave birth to two sons together – Balaji Bajirao Peshwa and Raghunathrao.

Balaji Baji Rao was born on 8th December 1720 and died on 23rd June 1761 also known as Nana Saheb Peshwa. He was appointed as the Peshwa on the retirement of the Chattrapati Shahu. He was married to Gopikabai and gave birth to three children Madhavrao I, Vishwasrao and Narayan Rao.

Madhav Rao I was born on 16th February 1745 and died on 18th November 1772 and was the fourth Peshwa of the Maratha Empire.

Narayan Rao was born on 10th August 1755 and died on 30th August 1773 and was the fifth Peshwa succeeded by Raghunathrao.
