Darjeeling
Location -Darjeeling is the only hill station in the state of West Bengal. It is located at a distance of 617.4 km from Kolkata, 62.9 km from Siliguri, and 70.6 km from New Jalpaiguri.
How to reach there - Numerous trains are available from Sealdah station to New Jalpaiguri station, from where one can get numerous Volvo buses, state buses, and private vehicles and cabs to Darjeeling. Alternatively, one can get several state buses from Kolkata to Darjeeling or even travel by private vehicle.
Where to stay - There are numerous Government guest houses, private hotels, and lodges available in attractive locations in Darjeeling.
