Hint: This is a famous proverb used in the domain of law and attorneys which means that if a person or an entity is not served justice due on time, then a justice served at a later point might lose its relevance for them. Write a story where justice is served but the purpose of justice is not fulfilled at all for the protagonist.

Complete answer:
Here is a story on the theme of Justice Delayed is Justice Denied.
Chandrakant was a scientist in the apex space agency of his country. He was very good at developing new technologies and due to this reason, he was included in the core team of development of Cryogenic Engine technology. However, one odd day, his office was raided by the local police officials who were bribed by the rival nation and charged Chandrakant and his teammates with espionage. They declared that Chandrakant and his team were spies and were leaking Defence secrets to foreign nations. The organisation of Chandrakant stepped back to save the name and he was arrested. But five years later, the charges were dropped due to lack of evidence and Chandrakant was reinstated at his job. However, he was thrown out of the core team and was given administrative roles.
He asked for a fair compensation for his loss of time and age and was granted the same after 20 years. During this entire time, the team of Chandrakant was side-lined and was seen with suspicion. Due to false cases, he and his teammates lost their credibility in the eyes of their own nation. Had this justice been served then and there, he could have done a lot more for the organisation.

Note: Justice Delayed is Justice Denied is a statement made by William E. Gladstone. He was the former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and had a tenure of more than 12 years over 4 terms.
