Hint:
-An essay is typically a short piece of writing that describes the viewpoint or tale of the writer.
-Keep it easy and crisp in your language. Unnecessary, complex and challenging words interrupt the sentence's flow.
-Do not make errors in grammar, use proper punctuation and spelling. It would distract the reader from the material if this is not achieved.

Complete answer:
Framton Nuttel has a nervous disorder who, on the guidance of his psychiatrist, travels the country to treat his nervous disorder. He is welcomed by Vera, the niece of Mrs. Sappleton, upon entering Mrs. Sappleton's house. Vera then proceeds to scare Mr. Nuttel with a lie about her uncle drowning in a bog and his two brothers-in-law.

Vera starts by telling Framton that her aunt had suffered a tragedy three years ago and that's why they kept the huge French window open. Then Vera tells Mr. Nuttel that her uncle and his two brothers-in-law went off to shoot and drowned in a treacherous bog three years ago.

She tells Framton, too, that their bodies have never been found, and Sadly, her aunt hopes that they will come back one day through an open French window. Framton feels unnerved and frightened when Vera finishes the tragic tale of her aunt, but is relieved to see Mrs. Sappleton entered the room. When Vera's uncles arrive, Framton's horror intensifies, and he assumes they are ghosts. Framton responds without saying goodbye by running out of the house in fear.

Nuttel was duped by the tale of Vera, but Vera, a frequent liar, does not justify to anyone his strange conduct. Instead, Vera invents another storey that indicates that Mr. Nuttel had once been terrified in a graveyard "on the banks of the Ganges" by "a pack of pariah dogs" and had apparently bolted at the sight of the spaniel accompanying the hunters. Mr. Nuttel is therefore perfectly victimised by the imagination of the young child.

Note: Did you know that the term 'essay' comes from the Latin word 'exagium,' which translates loosely into presenting one's case? Essays are therefore a brief piece of writing that represents one's side of the argument or one's memories, tales, etc.
