The history of Hindu chemistry was one of the most established contributions to the twentieth century given by the professor Prafulla Chandra Ray. He was a chemist by profession. The author P.C. Ray was an eminent personality in the field of chemistry and was working as a professor of Chemistry in the Presidency college, Calcutta when he was called upon by another stalwart in Chemistry, Mr. M.
