Dear Diary,
I am so excited to tell you about yesterday’s experience. I had plans to go to Shreya’s house despite the forecast of heavy rains and storms. I reached her place around 11 am and felt so happy to see her after a long time. We had plans to do painting, knitting, drawing, bangle making, cooking, baking, etc. While we were baking a cake in the late afternoon, the clouds started to thunder and roar. We were a little scared but we continued cooking and enjoying ourselves. After an hour or so, it started raining cats and dogs. I called my dad and asked him to pick me. My dad reached after a frightful journey. He said that he saw crocodiles in the city yard. I was very anxious to see the crocodiles, yet scared. As soon as we reached home, I saw two crocodiles in the nearby yard from my balcony. The entire streets were flooded with water and stranded cars floating in it. I saw in the news that those crocodiles had reached the city through main pipes that had burst. Overall, I and my parents drank hot chocolate and felt blessed to reach home safely.
