A Rich Man's Bad Habit and His Servant Story

Once in a village, there lived a rich man. The rich man had a bad habit of cursing God whenever anything bad happened to him. The rich man used to blame God always and was never thankful for what was given to him by God. The rich man had a servant who used to work for him. One day, the rich man was eating a cucumber. The cucumber tasted bitter incidentally. The rich man immediately called his servant. He gave the bitter cucumber to his servant to eat. The servant took the cucumber and ate it very happily. He ate the cucumber as if it was very sweet. The rich man was astonished to see the servant eating the bitter cucumber happily. The rich man, in a state of shock, asked the servant how he could eat the cucumber when it was so bitter. The servant told the rich man that the rich man was his master. The rich man gave him delicious food to eat every day. If one day the rich man gave him a bitter cucumber to eat, there was no harm in eating it happily.

Listening to what the servant said, the rich man realised his mistake. The rich man realised that God had given him so much. He thought that God has given him wealth and happiness in life and even if he encounters some bitterness in life, he would accept it as the gift of god.
