They collaborated with different writers and did a lot of research to create these stories. Hans Married is also a part of their collection.
There once used to live a poor farmer in a small village. The farmer was very stressed about his nephew. Therefore, he made it clear that he will marry him off to a rich farmer's daughter anyhow. The poor farmer made a very witty plan and decided to visit a rich farmer's house in the next village.
The next morning he woke up and wore pathy old trousers and a hat. As he was about to leave the house, he asked Hans to wear patch trousers too, then he made him sit near the hot stove. It was very warm and comfortable near the stove. Then he gave Hans a cup of warm milk, and bread and asked him to break the bread into small crumbles and mix in the milk. Lastly, he handed a shiny gold coin to his hands and asked him to stay as it is until he comes back. Hans agreed and the farmer left for the next village.
On reaching the rich farmer's house, the poor farmer said " I am here to ask your daughter's hand for my young, smart, and sensible nephew." The rich farmer without hesitation asked about Hans's financial condition. To this, the poor farmer replied, " Oh Hans, my nephew owns patches similar to the ones in my jeans. In that village, Patches meant a piece of land, although the farmer was referring to the patches on Hans's jeans.
The rich farmer then asked "Oh that's fine, but does he have any bread to break? '' To this, he replied, yes my friend Hans owns a comfortable, warm berth. He also has adequate bread to break and a good bit of money in his hands. All the things the farmer said were accurate in some way, although the wealthy farmer thought of everything in a different way. This gave birth to a big misunderstanding, just as the farmer wanted.
The farmer agreed to the marriage and all the ceremonies were organised on the decided date. The next day after marriage, the bride went out with Hans to see her land. Hans took her to big land with large boundaries and patted his pants and said all these patches you see are mine. The wife looked at his pants and was shocked. Hans wanted to tell her that not the land patches but the pant patches that belonged to him. The poor wife was sad because she was tricked, but she liked Hans too. Therefore both of them lived happily together as they were in love.
