A Short Story on Save Tigers

Tigers were considered to be one of the most majestic creatures in the forest. They are strong and they are ferocious. They have sharp teeth and they are very fast. They catch their prey with their teeth and eat them alive. Tigers are dangerous but it is they are a very important part of nature. And humans are endangering the lives of these enormous creatures. This story is about two tigers named Laura and Sungha. Both tigers are mischievous, wild, confident, adventurous, and ferocious. Both the cubs felt like they would definitely rule the area when they grow old and become adults.

Laura and Sungha both used to play in the jungle. Both of them loved their parents and their parents took care of them. The mother and father would catch their prey and everyone would divide the food. Both tiger cubs were living a content life with their parents in the lap of mother nature. However, one day, things changed for the worse.

An Attack From the Humans

One day, Laura and Sungha were playing in the forest. Their parents were nearby and keeping an eye on the cubs. Suddenly, they heard footsteps approaching. The parents understood that the human attackers and poachers had arrived to kill them. So, alert to the sound, the parents tried to protect the cubs. The father told the tigress to take Laura and Sungha from there and they started running inside the forest. However, the cubs couldn’t run much fast since they were just children. So, what happened next?

The parents died protecting the cubs from hunters. Both the father and the mother ended up dying a very gruesome death from the bullets of the hunters as they were shot down. The cubs got really scared but they continued to run so that they could save their own lives.

The Hunters Catch Sungha

For the hunters, it was just another game that they loved to play. So, they started chasing the poor tiger cubs. While Laura was fast enough to go and hide inside a cave, Sungha got caught. Laura saw her brother being taken away by the poachers. She was extremely sad. But what could she do? If she got out of the cave to protect her brother, the hunters would have caught her as well.

The ruthless hunters then took Sungha and went their way. From there, Sungha was sold to a circus. He performed tricks while the ringmaster tortured him for the entertainment of other humans. This is the sad reality of the tiger world. Thousands of tigers are caught every day and sold for various purposes. Some are sold to circuses and entertainment centres and some are killed and their body parts are used for different purposes.
