All About the Haunted Town

A man gradually got to know a couple of his neighbours after moving to a small town. He quickly discovered that most locals thought one of the roads leading out of town was haunted, but since he didn't believe in ghosts, he never inquired as to why.

The man once travelled to another town to see a buddy. He was having so much fun that he stayed later than he had intended to. It was well after midnight when he headed home. That night, there was no moon, and after leaving the town limits, his headlights were the only source of light. Soon it started to rain, which made sight much harder.

Woman in the Hoodie

As a result, when the man noticed the woman on the road, it was almost too late to stop. He slammed his foot down firmly, causing the car to fly off the road and stop inches from her legs.

It was too late and the weather was severe for the man to drive away again. He decided to give the woman a ride. She entered his vehicle, removed her wet hoodie, and placed her hands near the vents to feel the warmth.

The woman gave him directions to her house in the town after thanking him for the journey and entering. She had left her hoodie in his car, which the man found out when he arrived home. It was so late that he considered taking the car back to her house, but instead, he chose to go inside, go to bed, and return the hoodie the following day.

Man Sees the Figure

The following morning, he returned to the residence where he had left her, approached the door, and rang the doorbell. He gave the hoodie to the elderly woman who opened the door.

He said, "Last night, I drove your daughter home, and she left this in my car.

The woman started to sob.

She said, "Many years ago, a hit-and-run driver killed my daughter. She was wearing a hoodie similar to this one when it happened as she was driving into town.”
