Once upon a time, there was a young boy who found a treasure map. He was very excited as he set out on his path to find the treasure. During his travels, he came to a forest and met a lion. The boy asked the lion to join him in his expedition to find the treasure. The lion agreed and the two friends started their journey.

Travelling for some time, they reached a forest and met an eagle. The boy said, “We are travelling to find a treasure. You have great sight and you can help by warning us of any dangers coming from far away. Would you like to join us?” The eagle agreed to join the boy and the lion. While travelling through the mountain, the lion almost slipped but the boy pulled him up and they safely made it through.

The Friends Meet Some Sheep 

After travelling for some time, they came to a valley where they found a sheep. The boy then asked the sheep to join them on their travels to find the treasure. The sheep also agreed to join and together they kept going. Whenever the friends would feel cold, they would huddle against the sheep which would keep them warm. Very soon, they reached a desert and met a camel.

The boy said, “Friend, you are known as the ship of the desert. Would you be kind enough to guide our way and join our journey to find the treasure?” The camel also agreed to join the friends. So, the boy and the lion hopped onto the back of the camel as they crossed the desert together with his guidance. Very soon, they reached a river where they saw a turtle. The boy again asked the turtle to help them cross the river as they were going to find the greatest treasure.

The turtle agreed to carry them across the river and took everyone on its back. The waves were very strong and almost drowned the friends but the turtle kept its promise and took everyone across safely.

The Friends Find the Treasure

When they crossed the river, they saw an old owl sitting on top of a tree. The wise owl said, “You have finally found the greatest treasure.” The boy and the animals asked, “Where is it?”. The owl smiled and said, “The treasure is you and the friendship that you have. You have managed to cross the forest, the rocky mountains, the dry desert, and the turbulent rivers together. You have faced all your difficulties by helping one another. What treasure is more than the friendship that you have?”
