A Deadly Shark Approaching
The crew members lowered two boats into the water and were getting ready to rescue the boys. They knew they could not make it on time but they had to do something.
The gunner was turning pale with fear. For the first time, he could not think of any idea.
He got hold of himself and loaded the cannon. He aimed at the shark approaching, calculated its speed and fired. He knew he had only one chance to make it right. The boys’ lives were in his hands.
After shooting the cannon, he covered his eyes in fear.
Everybody started to cheer. He uncovered his eyes and to his surprise, the carcass of the shark was floating in the sea. The boys were on the rescue boat and approaching the ship slowly.
Everybody applauded the aim of the gunner. He saved two innocent lives. He also made the captain proud.
