Ivanka Trump Biography

Ivanka Trump is an American Business woman & the daughter of US president Mr Donald Trump. She was born on October 30th 1981 in Manhattan, New York City US. She is the first child of Donald Trump’s first wife Ivana Trump. Trump daughter Ivanka has worked as senior advisor to his father Donald Trump and as the director of the Office of Economic Initiatives and Entrepreneurship. She had her schooling from Chapin School till she was 15. After that, she switched to Choate Rosemary Hall in Connecticut. 

She started modelling in her teenage years on holidays & off-school days. She has done modelling for Tommy Hilfiger & Sasson Jeans. In the year 1997, she was also featured on the cover of Seventeen, an American bimonthly teen magazine that ran a story on "celeb moms & daughters”.  After her graduation, she attended Georgetown University for two years before moving to Wharton School of University to complete her education in economics.

Donald Trump daughter Ivanka Trump was born on 30th October 1981 to Ivana and Donald Trump. She was born in Manhattan, New York City, United States. Her mother is a Czech-American model and her father is a famous American politician and businessman. Ivanka is the second child and first daughter of her parents. Her parents divorced in 1992. She has two brothers - Donald Jr and Eric. She also has a half-sister and a half brother - Tiffany and Barron.

She started her career after graduating from Wharton in Forest City Enterprise as a real estate project manager. After that, she joined Trump’s Organization as an Executive Vice President of Development & Acquisition. She started her jewellery, shoes & apparel business and also got featured for those to promote the Trump Organization. was also featured in several magazines, such as Harper's Bazaar, Golf Magazine, Town & Country, Forbes Life and Vogue. Stuff, a British home electronics magazine, published by Kelsey Media, also featured Ivanka in August 2006 and again in September 2007.  

She formed Ivanka Trump Fine Jewellery in 2007 in a partnership with Dynamic Diamond Corp, a diamond vendor. The members of 100 Women in Hedge Funds, a global industry association for alternative investment and broader finance elected Ivanka Trump to their board in 2012 December. Her business in the fashion line started seeing a downmarket after customers started boycotting their products caused poor sales in 2017. On July 24th 2018 she announced to shut down all her fashion, apparel & show business & pursue her career in public policy. She has also featured on a few TV shows like The Apprentice & Project Runway All-Stars.

The Trump Card: Playing to Win in Work and Life, a self-help book by Ivanka was published in October 2009. The ghostwriter Daniel Paisner claimed that he is the co-writer of the book. Women Who Work: Rewriting the Rules for Success, her second self-help book, was published in May 2017. This book intends to help women realize their self-actualization and also help them deal with work-life balance. In The New York Times Best Seller list, the book debuted in number four in the  "Advice, How-To and Misc." category. It received a number of negative criticism and two weeks later, it was absent from the list.

Trump Daughter in Trump’s Campaign and Administration

In 2015 Ivanka started endorsing her father Donald Trump’s political party in the presidential election. In August 2015, Donald Trump declared Ivanka as his leading advisor on "Women's Health and Women". He also said that it was she who propelled him to elaborate on his views of women. In July 2016, at the 2016 Republican National Convention (RNC), Ivanka introduced her father through a speech immediately before his own speech. When she entered, The George Harrison song "Here Comes the Sun" was played. In her speech, she stated that “One of my father's greatest talents is the ability to see the potential in people and he would make America great again.” According to The Washington Post, her speech was well received as portraying Donald Trump "in a warmer-than-usual light".

Her father, Donald Trump was inaugurated as the 45th President of the United States at the  United States Capitol Building in Washington, D.C. on January 20th, 2017. 

Trump Daughter as Advisor to the President of the United States

Ivanka Trump resigned from her position at The Trump Organization in 2017 January. The images of Ivanka and her father were also removed from the websites of the organization. She advised her father unofficially for the first two months of his administration. On 2017, March 29, she was appointed as “First Daughter and Advisor to the President”, a government employee. She did not take any salary for the work. Ivanka was also selected as the head of the newly-established Office of Economic Initiatives and Entrepreneurship. In August 2017, Ivanka’s father, Donald Trump announced that she will be leading the U.S. delegation to India in the fall in global support of women's entrepreneurship. As a response to this announcement, an Indian diplomat stated, “We regard Ivanka Trump the way we do half-wit, Saudi princes. It's in our national interest to flatter them”. Two days after Donald Trump made this announcement, on August 12, 2017, a terror attack in Charlottesville, Virginia took place where one person was killed and 35 were injured. Ivanka and Jared took the helicopter of The Trump Organization for a two-day getaway in Vermont. 

In 2019, Trump daughter Ivanka went for a worldwide tour to promote the “Women's Global Development and Prosperity Initiative”. She travelled to Ethiopia, Ivory Coast, Paraguay, Argentina, Colombia, Morocco and many other countries. To promote her initiative, she also attended the 74th United Nations General Assembly. She introduced her father at the 2020 Republican National Convention by which he proceeded on the front lawn of the White House to accept the party's nomination before a crowd of supporters.
