Kendall Jenner is best described as a model and Instagram celebrity, she is also a reality tv show star called Keeping up with Kardashians. Her full name is Kendall Nicole Jenner. She is among the top fashion icons of the world, she started her career at the hit T.V show featuring the Jenner and Kardashian siblings, after she moved to model. She is now among the highest-paid models and owns merchandise of clothing, makeup and accessories. She along with her sisters is a prominent name in social media and is recognized as a top fashion e-commerce influencer.

Kendall Jenner Childhood and Family

She was born on November 3, 1995, in Los Angeles. Kendall Jenner’s age is 26 years old. Her middle name Nicole was given to her as a tribute to the late friend of her mother, Nicole Brown Simpson.

Kendall Jenner spent her childhood in the suburbs of Los Angeles, she lived with the four half-siblings from the first marriage of her mother Kris. Kendall Jenner's sister's name is Kylie Jenner, the names of other Kendall Jenner siblings (half-siblings) are Kourtney, Kim, Khloé and Rob Kardashian. The extended family of Jenner includes half-siblings from the first marriage and the second marriage of her father Bruce Jenner (now Caitlyn Jenner). The half-siblings from the first marriage are Burt and Cassandra, and two half-brothers from his second marriage, Brandon and Brody. Kendall Jenner was raised in her home at Calabasas, an upscale suburb west of Los Angeles.

She attended the Sierra Canyon School, then switched to homeschooling. She graduated from high school in 2014.

Early career

Jenner began her career at a very young age, she first started working on the reality television show called Keeping Up with the Kardashians, in the year of 2007. She then worked on various spin-offs of the reality show, her first modelling job was modelling for an ad campaign for Forever 21. Soon after the launch of the campaign, she was offered various job prospects according to various Kendall Jenner biographies.

Modelling career

Kendall Jenner was young when she started her modelling career, she was only 13 years old when she first started out modelling 13. She signed her first contract with the Wilhelmina Models on July 12, 2009. Through this modelling agency, she got her first job to model for the fashion and clothing brand called Forever 21. The campaign was called “Rocker Babes with a Twist”, it lasted from December 2009 to January 2010.

She then modelled and featured in the teen vogue magazine. The feature was published in April 2010. She then walked as a runway model in the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, she walked for the designer and businesswoman Sheri Hill. The show was a success, she got contacted soon by many fashion designers and clothing brands. 

Upon the success of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, she signed a contract with designers and brands like White Sands Australia, Leah Madden, and Agua Bendita. She was also featured in many magazines after the success of the  Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, some of the magazines included American Cheerleader, Teen Prom, Looks, Raine, GenLux, Lovecat, and Flavour Magazine.

Kendall shortly worked on some joint projects, especially editorial works with Victoria's Secret photographer Russell James. Their work was featured on the Kurv, Miss Vogue Australia, and Harper's Bazaar Arabia. She joined the collaboration in November 2012 and they worked together on these editorial projects till 2014. Her editorial work was significant in the fashion industry, impressed by her skills she was signed with The Society Management on November 21, 2013.

During this time career grew exponentially, the model walked on the runways and was featured on various covers. Some of the top designers for whom she walked the runway included  Marc Jacobs, Giles Deacon, Givenchy, Chanel, Donna Karan, Diane von Fürstenberg, Tommy Hilfiger, Fendi, Ports 1961, Bottega Veneta, Pucci, Dolce & Gabbana; Sonia Rykiel, and Balmain. The most prominent cover that Kendal shot during this period of her career included Interview, LOVE, and Teen Vogue. The major breakthrough of her career was seen when she was signed up as the face of the campaign for Givenchy. Soon after signing the contract with Givenchy, she was signed off as an official Estée Lauder representative.

Kendall Jenner age was 21 when she rose to fame, in 2015 after being signed as an official; representative of the multi-million fashion corporation she was counted among the most prominent workers in the fashion industry. Jenner walked for Chanel, Alexander Wang, Diane von Fürstenberg, Donna Karan, Vera Wang, Michael Kors, Marc Jacobs, Oscar de la Renta, Giles Deacon, Fendi, N°21, H&M, Balmain, the annual Dosso Dossi Fashion Show in Antalya, Turkey, Givenchy, Elie Saab, and Ports 1961. Jenner got her famous Victoria Secret runway show in the year 2015. 

She was honoured for her work in the industry by establishing her wax statue at Madame Tussaud's in 2016. During this time Kendall featured on the top brands and magazines including the shot covers and editorials in Vogue Brazil, W Korea, LOVE, Vanity Fair, V, Self Service Magazine, and Harper's Bazaar. She also broke a deal with various clothing brands like  Mango, CPS Chaps, Calvin Klein, Rock The Vote/Independent Journal Review, and Denimlab.

Kendall is among the highest-paid models in the industry. She also was awarded Teen Choice awards for Favorite Model in 2015 and 2016 and made it to Forbes’ list of highest-paid models. In 2017 and 12018 she was recorded as the highest-paid model.

Business Ventures

She has many business ventures in the fashion industry and outside the industry, Kendall Jenner siblings, Kylie Jenner who is also a prominent name in the clothing and fashion industry are known to have invested in several apps and makeup products. They launched the two signature nail lacquers for the 2011 Nicole by OPI Kardashian Kolors nail polish line, the line is owned by the half-sibling of Jenner. 

Kendal Jenner siblings were also named as the creative director for the Gillette Venus Gets Ready with Kendall & Kylie Jenner webisode series, they are also known to have collaborated to launch their own jewellery and shoe and handbag brands, which are named Metal Haven by Kendall & Kylie jewellery collection. The handbag and shoe brand was launched under Steve Madden's Madden Girl line for Nordstrom. Kylie Cosmetics launched Kendall Jenner x Kylie Cosmetics on June 26, 2020.

Apart from the business ventures Kendall also appeared on some music videos and ad campaigns, she also performed as a voice actor for the television series called The High Fructose Adventures of Annoying Orange episode "Shakesparagus Speare". The Jenner siblings co-wrote a book called  Rebels: City of Indra with ghostwriter Maya Sloan. The premise of the book was based on a dystopian society and was published in 2014.
