The fourth chapter of Class 3 Maths is all about the measurement of length. It explains standard and non-standard units of measurement.

The chapter begins with a short exercise in which a girl named Lali sells things at her father’s shop. A farmer comes there to buy 7 arms of rope. Lali measures the 7 arms of rope and gives it to the farmer, but the length of the rope is only 6 arms. Then, Lali asks the farmer to measure his arm with the rope and take 7 times of that length. The students are then asked to measure their and their mother’s arms and find the difference between them.
