Steps for Writing an Essay:

1. Understand the prompt after reading it: Know exactly what is required of you.

2. Plan: Organizing and brainstorming your thoughts will make writing your essay much simpler for you.

3. Cite your sources properly: Make research. Never plagiarise; rather, use quotes and rephrase from your sources.

4. Prepare a Draft:  The first draft of anything is always terrible, as Ernest Hemingway famously observed. The first one can be just about rough ideas placed in a disorganized manner.

5. Prepare a compelling essay: The most crucial part of your essay is the topic statement. Make a solid case for it by quoting examples and stating statistics if needed.

6. Writing the final essay: After you have fixed any errors in your original draft, you can start drafting the final version of your essay.

7. Proofread: Make sure there are no errors by carefully reading your response. Take note of everything.
