1. How did the doe save the life of Jody’s father?
Jody’s father had been bitten by a snake, and there were high chances that he would not live to see another day. But luckily, they had come across a doe that had been wandering nearby. Jody’s father had killed the doe and used its liver to draw out the snake’s poison from his body. Both Jody and his father feel that they were able to return back only because of the doe. While there, he placed the fawn down to get a little breath and this is when he remembered that his father had once told him that the fawns usually start following the person who had picked them up.
