1. Who is the Giant in the story? 

Ans: The Giant is a selfish person who has a flower garden where the children enjoy playing. He paid a visit to his friend the Cornish Ogre and spent seven years with him. 

2. What was Giant’s garden? 

Ans: The Giant's Garden is a lovely garden with soft green grass. Above the grass, there are flowers that resemble stars. There are twelve peach trees that produce pink and pearl flowers in the spring and rich fruits in the autumn.

3. What did the Giant do to stop the children? 

Ans: The Giant forbade the children from playing in his garden. To deter them, he erected a high wall around the garden and posted a notice that read, "Trespassers will be prosecuted."

4. Where did the children play if not in the garden? 

Ans: The kids ran around on the streets. Children had to stop because the roads were dusty and full of hard stone. They walked around the high walls, talking about the lovely garden inside.

Ans: The Giant's garden did not see the arrival of spring. The birds didn't sing, the flowers didn't bloom, and the trees didn't bloom. A flower was blooming when it noticed that there would be no children present, so spring did not arrive in the Giant's garden. 

2. Who were the only people pleased in the Giant’s garden? 

Ans: The only people who were happy in the Giant's garden were Snow and Frost. They converse as they say, "Spring has forgotten this garden." They sobbed as they realized they would have to stay all year. The grass was covered in snow, and the trees were covered in frost.

3. What did Giant observe about the Summer and the Autumn? 

Ans: The Giant noticed that neither Spring, Summer, nor Autumn had arrived. Except for the giant's garden, Autumn bestowed golden fruits on all gardens. Autumn, too, saw Giant as a self-centered individual.

Ans: The Giant awoke one morning to the sound of lovely music coming from his window. He assumed it was the King's musicians passing by, but it turned out to be a little linnet singing outside his window.

1. What and how did the trees celebrated? What was the most wonderful sight to the Giant? 

Ans: As the children returned to the Giant's garden to play, the environment and season in the Giant's garden changed. The children returned, and trees decorated themselves with birds and blossoms to commemorate the occasion. The Giant was overjoyed to see the children sneaking in through the small hole in the wall. The children were sitting in the tree branches. Every tree, according to the Giant, had at least one child on its branch. He was relieved that the children had returned.

2. Was the Giant’s garden totally winter free? What realisation did the Giant have? 

Ans: No, the Giant's garden was not completely free of winter. It was the farthest corner of the garden, and a young boy stood there. The boy was so small that he couldn't reach the tree, so he cried and wandered around. The boy was so small that he couldn't climb up even when the tree's branches were tilted down. The Giant realized it was selfish of him to forbid the children from entering the garden, which is why the spring did not occur. 

3. Why the Giant crept downstairs? What did he do? 

Ans: The Giant notices a little boy struggling to climb the tree because he is so small. As a result, he crept downstairs and went outside into the garden. The children fled because they were afraid of him, and the winter returned. The little boy remained standing because he had not seen Giant approaching. The Giant lifted the boy and hung him from the tree, and the tree blossomed, birds came and sang on it, and the boy hugged and kissed the Giant. 

4. How did the other children react when they saw that the giant had placed the boy up the tree? 

Ans: The other children who had escaped when they saw the Giant was relieved to see that the Giant was no longer evil. The children dashed forward, bringing the Spring with them. The Giant informed the children that it was now their garden and that they could play in it. With an axe, the Giant tore down the wall. Passers-by noticed the Giant playing with the children in the most beautiful garden anyone had ever seen around noon.

5. What child did the Giant longed for and why? Was he able to meet the boy again? 

Ans: The Giant longing for the boy for whom he had erected the tree. He was the most in love with him because the boy had hugged and kissed him. He'd ask the other kids when he'd arrive. Even when he was old, the Giant would sit in his armchair and wait for him. Yes, the Giant was able to re-meet the boy as he arrived in the winter garden. The Giant became enraged when he noticed two nail prints on the boy's palms and feet. He asks the boy who did it because he intends to kill that person. The little boy responds that they are love wounds and that he should not be concerned.
