What is the concept of the nucleus and are surrounded by the chapter?

This chapter is all about the smallest unit of matter that is the atom which constitutes the properties of the element. Students will also learn that the atom comprises the nucleus which is surrounded by the outermost shells. The shells contain electrons and the nucleus contains protons and neutrons.
