CUET 2025 Exam: Dates (Soon), Eligibility, Registration, UG Pattern, Syllabus, Results
FAQs on CUET 2025: Exam Dates, Syllabus, Application Form
1. When will the CUET 2025 application form be released?
The CUET UG 2025 application form is expected to be released in the first week of March 2025. NTA has launched the official website, and notification should come by the end of February. Keep checking cuet.nta.nic.in for the activation of the application link.
2. What are the exam dates for CUET 2025?
The exact dates will be announced by NTA. However, as per trends, CUET 2025 is likely to be conducted in May 2025 (mid-May onwards). We have tentatively listed May 15 to May 31, 2025, as the possible exam window. Once NTA confirms, we will update the precise schedule.
3. Has the CUET 2025 exam pattern changed from last year?
Yes, there are some notable changes. The number of domain subjects has been reduced to 23 (from 27), meaning some subjects like Entrepreneurship, Home Science, etc., are removed. Students can choose a maximum of 5 subjects now, and can even choose subjects they didn’t study in Class 12 (new flexibility). The overall structure of sections (Languages, Domain, General) and the marking scheme remains the same as in 2024.
4. What is a good score or percentile in CUET 2025 for top universities?
Since CUET is relatively new, cut-offs are decided by each university and vary by course. Generally, a percentile above 90-95 is considered very good and can make you eligible for top courses in central universities. Some highly sought programs (like BA Economics at DU or BSc Computer Science) might require ~99 percentile. It’s important to perform well in all chosen domain subjects and the general test to maximie your chances. We will compile last year’s cut-off percentiles of major universities on a separate page for reference.
5. Do I need to send any documents by post after applying online for CUET 2025?
No, the entire process is online. You do not need to mail any documents to NTA. Just ensure you upload everything correctly and keep digital/print copies of your form and confirmation. Admissions will be handled by universities later, and they will ask for documents during counselling directly.
6. Is there an age limit for CUET UG 2025?
NTA has not prescribed any upper or lower age limit for taking CUET UG. Candidates who have passed (or are appearing for) the Class 12 board exam in 2025 are generally eligible to apply. However, individual universities may have their own age-related criteria for specific courses, so always verify the program requirements of the universities you’re targeting.
7. What if I made a mistake in my CUET UG 2025 application form?
NTA usually provides an application form correction window after the initial registration deadline. During this period, you can log in and correct specific details (e.g., personal information, subject preferences). However, not all fields may be editable—review the official guidelines for which details can be changed.
8. How do I participate in counselling or admission after CUET UG 2025 results?
CUET UG does not have a single, centralied counselling process. Instead, each participating university conducts its own counselling or admission process. After the results are declared, you must apply to the universities you’re interested in, submit your CUET scores, and follow their individual admission guidelines (such as document verification, choice filling, and seat allocation).
9. How many subjects can I appear for in CUET UG 2025?
Candidates can choose a combination of language tests, domain subjects, and the general test. Exact limits (e.g., maximum of 6 tests) may vary from year to year. Check the official CUET UG 2025 brochure for the final rules on how many subjects or sections you can select.
10. What is the CUET 2025 syllabus?
Subjects Covered: CUET UG 2025 spans 63 subjects in total, including:
33 Languages (e.g., English, Hindi, Tamil, etc.)
29 Domain Subjects (e.g., Physics, Chemistry, History, Accountancy, etc.)
