Merit-Based Available Scholarships Under KIIT Scholarship Scheme 2024

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) is a private college in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, established in 1992. It is recognised as one of India's top colleges for its academic quality. The Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology offers scholarships to help students who can't afford their education. Students who qualify for this scholarship can receive up to INR 50,000 per month, allowing them to continue their studies without financial worries.


Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should apply based on the qualifying requirements, which are:


  • The academic standards for each course must be met; otherwise, the scholarship will be revoked. 

  • Applicants must be born after July 1, 2001, to be eligible for undergraduate scholarship courses.

Pradyumna Bal Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship honours the Late Pradyumna Kishore Bal, the Founder and President of KIIT. Each year, it offers full financial support for education to two deserving and needy students. The scholarship covers all costs, including tuition, hostel and mess fees, books, and other related expenses. The selection committee's decision on who receives the scholarship is final.


KIIT Poverty-Cum-Merit award

KIIT offers a Poverty-Cum-Merit award for low-income and needy students. The amount and duration of the scholarship are determined by the needs of the selected individuals. The selection committee's decision to pick such individuals will be final.


Teaching Assistantship

KIIT offers a Living Learning Programme for M. Tech students. This new project has been launched to aid postgraduate students who want to supplement their income while still studying and earn teaching/research experience. The number of such prizes is adjustable and determined by the management of KIIT University.


KIIT Merit Scholarship

The KIIT Merit Scholarship ranges from 5000 INR to 10000 INR per month for the first place holder in semester examinations (for various schools within the Deemed University) for six months.


KIITEE Merit Scholarship

If admitted to KIIT, the top KIITEE-2020 candidates will receive free education (just for B.Tech. (4 years). In addition, KIIT offers scholarships to the top 1000 rank holders of KIITEE 2020 (B.Tech. - 4 years) during their study duration at KIIT, subject to certain requirements.


KIIT International Scholarship

PhD Scholarship

KIIT Deemed to be University offers a full-time PhD scholarship worth 20,000 INR per month.


Contingency Fund

A contingency fund of 50,000 INR is offered to both full-time PhD and M. Tech students.

  3. 10th and 12th pass certificates

  5. Graduation marks sheet.

  6. The pass certificate is only for MCA, MCA(LE), and M.Sc. (Biotechnology/Applied Microbiology).

  7. Diploma Pass Certificate and Three Years' Marksheet (for Lateral Entry Candidates)

  8. Tech./B.E./MCA/M.Sc. or Equivalent Degree Certificate (For M.Tech./LLM/PhD Candidates)

  9. Certificate from the Competent Authority showing the candidate's reservation criteria, as well as a GATE score card (for M.Tech. degree holders who are GATE eligible).


Stipends for Medical and Nursing Programs in the KIIT

  1. Doctor of Medicine, Master of Surgery, and Master of Dental Surgery programmes cost Rs. 49000, 51000, and 53000 INR a month for the first, second, and third years, respectively.

  2. Magister Chirugial/Doctorate of Medicine costs 58000 INR per month.

  3. MBBS and BDS internships cost 20000 INR per month.

  4. The monthly fee for the Sc in Nursing, General Nursing, and Midwifery (Nursing) is 6000 INR.
