NTSE (National Talent Search Examination) conducted by the National Council of Education Research and Technology (NCERT), is a scholarship test conducted for identifying the bright students wanting to pursue their higher education in science and social science. NTSE stage-1 exam for 2020-21 was conducted on December 13, 2020 for 11 states including Delhi. 


The official updated answer key for Delhi NTSE 2020 – 21 Stage 1 is available at edudel.nic.in. The first stage of the NTSE test was held on December 13, 2020, and the second stage will be held on June 13, 2021. There are two phases of the National Talent Search Examination (NTSE). Delhi NTSE 2020-2021 Application Form

  • Directorate of Education website, the School HoS will provide them with their own school login ID and password.

  • From the date of the circular until November 20, 2020, schools may register their eligible enrolled pupils.

  • By November 30, 2020, the Science Branch of the Directorate of Education will produce candidate roll numbers and assign examination centres.

  • By December 8, 2020, schools will take a printout of the admission card that has been legally certified by the HoS and distribute it to pupils.

  • By December 5, 2020, the Head of School will submit the following documents to the Science Branch in hard form.

  • The Principal/HoS must certify the printout of the Admit Card.

  • HoS attestation of caste/category certificate.

  • Students who applied under the EWS category must provide proof of their income and assets.

  • The HoS appropriately validated a consolidated proforma containing candidate data for each school.

  • The parents' responsibility for the COVID Guidelines.


Eligibility Criteria for NTSE at the State Level in Delhi, 2020–2021

Students must have received 60 percent in Class IX in the 2019-2020 school year, with a 5 per cent mark relaxation for students in the SC/ST and PH categories.


Students enrolled in Open Distance Learning (ODL) will be eligible for a scholarship if they are under the age of 18 (as of July 1st of that year), unemployed, and taking their Class 10 exams for the first time.


Reservation

At the national level, 15 per cent for students belonging to the SC category, 7.5 per cent for students belonging to the ST category, 27 per cent for students belonging to the OBC category (Non-creamy layer), and 10 per cent for students belonging to the Economically Weaker Section (EWSs) (EWS candidates will have to produce income & assets certificate issued by the competent authority) as per central list available on ncbe.nic.in for Disabled (within category) as per norms for Stage 1.
