3. What are the scholarship provisions in NTSE?

The scholarship that is provided to students on passing both the exam stages of NTSE is:

Cash Scholarship of 1250/- per month for the student studying in the 11th and 12th standard.

Cash Scholarship of 200/- per month for Undergraduate and Postgraduate students.

Cash Scholarship during PHDs.

In addition to this, when a student goes to a college to study for his/her undergraduate degree in the field of Engineering or Medicine, they also get discounts.

4. How many questions are asked in the NTSE examination? Is there any negative marking?

The NTSE Exam takes place in two stages- Stage I and Stage II. SAT and MAT, which consists of 100 questions, consists of subjects like Math, Science, Social Science, Mental Ability and General Knowledge. Students should note that there is no negative marking in this exam, so you don't have to worry about taking a chance for some questions to which they don’t know the answer.
